LostTed works because of people who care. These guidelines help us keep it a safe, kind place for everyone.
🚫 No rewards, ever
LostTed is completely free — for everyone, always. Please do not offer money, gifts, goods, or services in exchange for help finding a teddy. And if someone asks you for anything in return for helping, please report it to us immediately.
Helping someone find their lost teddy is its own reward. That's what this community is built on.
Be honest
Only post a listing if you've genuinely lost something. Only reach out to a Lister if you genuinely think you've found their teddy. Don't create fake listings or send messages you don't mean. Trust is what makes this work.
Be kind
Behind every listing is a person who is upset about losing something they love. Treat everyone on LostTed the way you'd want to be treated if it was your teddy that was missing.
Respect privacy
Contact details are private until both parties choose to share them. Don't try to find someone's personal information outside of what they've chosen to share with you through the platform.
Don't misuse the platform
LostTed is for lost and found teddies. Don't use it for spam, scams, or anything unrelated to reuniting lost items with their owners. Accounts that abuse the platform will be removed.
